CUET PG 2025: Admit Card Released at exams.nta.ac.in

The Admit Card for the Common University Entrance Test which is commonly known as CUET PG 2025 is released now on the official website of NTA, which is http://exams.nta.ac.in/, the exam authorities, for candidates whose exams are scheduled to take place between March 13, 2025 and March 20, 2025. The admit cards for the CUET PG 2025 test are being released in phases.

On March 6, 2025, the NTA released the CUET PG City Intimation Slip 2025. For the first time, exam officials distributed the city intimation slips for the tests as a whole rather than in segments. A total of 4,12,024 enrolled candidates will take the CUET PG 2025 exam in 43 shifts. The CUET PG 2025 test could be taken from March 13, 2025, to April 1, 2025, in 3 90-minute shifts everday. There will be no examinations on March 14, March 17, or March 20, 2025.

CUET PG 2025 will include 157 disciplines given by 190 member universities. The institution may determine the weight of the score for admission to specialized courses. The CUET PG pattern 2025 for general papers will be changed to include a negative marking system for all topic courses. The CUET 2025 PG question paper will follow the same syllabus as the CUET PG 2024. 

The CUET PG 2025 test will be conducted at 312 exam locations. The NTA has modified the CUET PG examination for this session, reducing the exam duration to 90 minutes from 105 minutes, introducing new topics to the MCA syllabus, hiking application fees, and expanding the number of exam city options to four.

New Updates to the CUET PG 2025 Exam

To improve and streamline the exam process, the NTA (National Testing Agency), in collaboration with the University Grants Commission (UGC), has implemented several new adjustments or upgrades to the CUET PG (Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate) 2025 exam. A committee of specialists has been organized to thoroughly review and examine the overall conduct of the exam, and their opinions or ideas have led applicants to several major improvements.

  • Admission Criteria: Admission to Postgraduate courses will be based on the CUET PG scores in conjunction with UGC norms.
  • Specialized Courses: Universities may include a specific weightage of marks in the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate (CUET PG) exam 2025 for specialized courses.
  • Exam City Preference: In a significant update, candidates can now select up to four exam city centres, up from two previously. This move benefits candidates by increasing flexibility and convenience.

Revised Registration Fees

The NTA has revised the registration fees for the CUET (PG) 2025 exam category-wise as mentioned below:

  • General/ Unreserved (UR) Category: Candidates in the General or unreserved category are required to pay a fee of INR 700 for each paper, for a total of INR 1,400.
  • OBC-NCL/GenEWS: They are charged INR 600 per exam, for a total of INR 1200.
  • PwBD candidates are required to pay a total of INR 1,000 for two papers and INR 600 for each.
  • SC/ST Third Gender: Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/or the third gender must pay a gross fee of INR 1,100 for both papers.
  • International Applications: International applications cost ₹7,000 for up to two papers, and ₹3,500 for each additional paper.
