CUET UG 2025 Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Limit: No Upper Age defined by NTA
  • Qualification: Must have cleared their intermediate (10+2) qualification or equivalent education in 2025.
  • Reservations: According to Government of India regulations, seats are reserved for Indian citizens who fall into certain categories (OBC-NCL, Gen-EWS, SC, and ST), subject to the Central University's reservation policy.
  • Persons with Disabilities (PwD):
    • Exam time compensation and the use of a scribe, if required, are among the provisions.
    • An additional twenty minutes will be granted to the applicants for the one-hour exam.
    • Reserve benefits are contingent upon a disability of at least 40%.

Steps to Apply for the CUET UG 2025 Exam

Paper-I Language

The English language is the option that most CBSE students would choose for the first segment of the CUET exam. Questions about subjects like grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension will be asked in this section.

Students have to attempt 50 questions

Paper- II Domain (Subjects in Class 12)

This section includes 23 subjects from the +2 levels, all based totally on the NCERT syllabus. These subjects span the Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams. Students can pick a subject they studied in Class XII or pick a brand new problem they want to pursue for graduation. To appear for the CUET examination, a student should steady at least 50% marks inside the  2 examinations for the General class and 45% marks for the SC/ST/OBC-NCL category.

To relieve applicants of the burden of preparing for both exams, the CUET (UG)-2025 subject/domain test syllabus will be based on Class 12.
