Eligibility Criteria: NTA JEE Main Session II (April 2025) Exam 

Candidates applying for the JEE Main Session II (April 2025) must ensure to meet the following eligibility criteria:

  1. Educational Qualification
  • 10+2 qualified candidates or an equivalent examination in 2023, and 2024 and candidates appearing for the 10+2 boards in 2025 are eligible to apply too. 
  • Must be with PCM discipline- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects for B.E./B.Tech; additional subjects for B.Arch & B.Planning programs.
  1. Age Limit
  • No age restriction.
  • Candidates, however, should meet the age criteria set of preferred institutes they apply for.
  1. Number of Attempts
  • Candidates can appear twice a year (January & April sessions).
  • Aspirants can appear for a maximum of three consecutive years starting from their Class 12 passing year in the JEE Main Exam. 
  1. Nationality
  • Candidates applying for the JEE Main Session II 2025 Exam must be Indian citizens.
  • International students, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) are too eligible to apply.
  1. Minimum Marks 
  • No minimum marks are set for this examination.
  • However, a minimum of 75% marks (65% for SC/ST categories) are required to enrol on IIITs, NITs, and GFTIs in intermediate/12th standard or be in the top 20 percentile of respective boards of education.
