- Two papers:

Syllabus for Written Papers:-
Paper 1: General Ability and Intelligence
Paper 1 of the exam covers objective-type questions with multiple choices questions in the following areas:
- General Mental Ability: The questions will be intended to evaluate logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude (including arithmetic skills), and data interpretation.
- General Science: The questions will be designed to evaluate general awareness, scientific temper, comprehension, and appreciation of scientific phenomena observed daily, including emerging areas of importance such as information technology, biotechnology, and environmental science.
- Current Events of National and International Importance: The questions will test applicants' knowledge of current national and worldwide events in the disciplines of culture, music, arts, literature, sports, governance, societal and developmental concerns, industry, business, globalization, and international relations.
- Indian Polity and Economy: The questions will evaluate candidates' knowledge of the country's political system and the Indian Constitution, social systems and public administration, Indian economic development, regional and international security problems, and human rights, including indicators.
- History of India: The questions will cover the subject's social, economic, and political aspects. This will also see the spread of nationalism and the liberation movement.
- Indian and World Geography: The questions will focus on the physical, social, and economic aspects of geography in India and around the world.
Paper II: General Studies, Essay and Comprehension
Part-A – Essay questions worth 80 points must be responded to in extended narrative form in Hindi or English. Modern Indian history, notably the freedom struggle, geography, politics, and economics, understanding of security and human rights issues, and analytical abilities are all indicative topics.
Part-B – Comprehension, precis writing, and other communication/language abilities will be attempted solely in English (Marks 120). The topics covered include comprehension passages, précis writing, counterargument construction, rudimentary grammar, and other language assessment components.
